The church that welcomes all, including disc golfers of all denominations! Lake Hills Baptist Church and it's staff of Pastor Adam Landkrohn, Pastor Jacob Riggs, and Sports Director Curtis Munday, to name a few, boasts the most encouraging, fun, and accepting environment I've witnessed in a setting.
Countless members of this church have welcomed our club to the property for the use of it's facilities. The property holds the Lake Hills Disc Golf Course of 12 baskets, two pads per hole, and a practice basket. Not to mention, an event center, full sized gym, and ministries, and much more.

A movement, club, and recovery resource. Michael (MF) Ferreira started this disc golf club after finding the sport and it helping save his own life. Setting out to inspire and save others, his goal is to reach those who are looking for help, would like to help others, or any place adjacent to those spaces.
He hosts a tags league in the Chicagoland area and recently held a successful Fundraiser Tournament at Dellwood Disc Golf Course to support Live4Lali!

The Illinois Hemp Growers Association made it onto our radar when they advertised their annual celebration on Facebook. They were holding it as a disc golf tournament!
I was so shocked and interested, that I immediately began promoting it and looking further into the association. I messaged their contact Rachel Berry and found out as much as I could.
We established a friendship and are hoping to grow together as a disc golf club that promotes their message.
Our first idea is to hold a tournament together. Our biggest idea yet is to implement Hempcrete tee pads into parks! I have hopes that our favorite disc manufacturers will choose IHGA to supply their hemp for inclusion on their plastic blends...
