Sign up for the 2026 KOWTags Knockdown playing 39 Holes at Lake Hills March 28th!
General:
When should I show up?
Saturdays:
8:15AM: Check in begins
8:45AM: Player's meeting covering UDisc scoring, CTPs, OB, Card assignments, etc.
9:00AM: Tee off
How does it work?
Buy a tag for $5 and represent KOWDG everywhere your bag goes! Then choose a division each week depending on what you'd like to compete for:
TAG (Free after purchasing a tag): Put your tag in for a chance to take home the best tag available.
CTP ($5): Tag in with $5 for a chance at winning one of the multiple CTPs available each round plus the climbing Ace Pot (starting at $200 in 2026)!
ALL ($10): Tag in with $10 to compete for best tag, CTPs, the Ace Pot, and cash payouts to the top 25% of players.
Singles play scoring. The best score for the day leaves with the best tag present.
Where does the money go?
Buy ins toward CTP and ALL are distributed by:
$1 toward Club Funds
$1 toward CTPs
$3 toward Ace Pot
$5 toward Payouts (ALL division only)
FAQ
"What if I lost my tag?” - Buy a new one or compete without one for the week, but no tag in means no tag out. You may still buy into the CTP and ALL divisions.
“What if I'm late?” - If you’re later than 5 min after tee off you can join as the free play option but will unfortunately miss the prize pool entries out of fairness.
"Is this OB?" - Check UDisc first. If the definition is unclear, get the majority vote from your card. If there are still uncertainties, take a picture of your lie, and play provisionally (one shot taken as if the lie is OB and one shot taken as if the lie is in bounds). Then, consult a TD with your photo and get a ruling before finalizing score.
